College Football Week 6 line moves

by Dustin Dominiak

Every week there are games that has the majority (public) of the bets, but the line is moving the other way.  This is a good indication of the amount of money bet on each side.  The number of bets don’t move lines, the amount of money wagered moves lines.  If a line is moving against the public then there are some big time bettors taking the opposite side, and if they are betting the kind of money that can move a line, its safe to assume they know what they are doing (sharps; smart money).

Not all of these will be winners, but if undecided on one of the below games, this could help make the decision to either side.

Here is the list of games that have lines moving against the public.  Data as of mid day Tuesday, October 3.
